1971 Dodge Charger R/T Hood Release

Does anyone have a picture of the exterior hood release setup for a 1971 Dodge Charger R/T? All I have is a hanging rod. I need to reach through the front valance to open the hood. I have hidden headlights.

Looks as though I should not have an exterior hood release since I have concealed lights. Should be an inside release. Is that correct?

I'm not positive but I think is should have an interior hood release - tee handle under the dash. Reminds me of when I first got my 71 charger SE and had to reach in the same way as the cable for the release was broken.

Yes interior hood release right above the drivers side kick panel it attach's to the bottom of the dash no exterior hood release.

Spoke with the previous owner, he put the hidden lights on about 10 years back. He got them off an SE. What are my options now? Just intall an inside one?

I would, they are not hard to install
