I have both a 1971 Coronet and Satellite 4 door sedan that needs front windshield gaskets and glass. Also rear glass gasket. Anybody know of a vendor who makes these parts? Thanks

Start a Parts wanted thread. No one makes the 4 door parts. We are lucky enough to get 2 door pieces.

Find a few local glass shops and ask them.

Seriously.

...or look online and get a part number, then ask the local shops about getting that part.

4-door windshield is not being made as far as I know. I get a few calls for them every year.
Also they glue in so no gasket for both front and rear.

look up justmopars.com At one time his ad said he had body 4 door gaskets, seals etc.

Again, no seals or gaskets.

I believe the same stuff they use today on modern cars will work.

Originally, they used ribbon tape. 3/8" for the windshield and 5/16" for the rear glass. I still use this. Getting ready to set the glass in a 71 Cuda.
Can also use the urethane in the tube for new cars.

Thanks for the informative replies. It will help me put both these cars back on the road to enjoy as daily drivers. Hopefully I can find some glass locally, glad I don't have to worry about a traditional windshield gasket. Maybe in the future they will make more parts for these 4 door sedans, I know more people are buying them up to fix up.

I got a new windshield for my 63 Belvedere 4 door from Summit Racing.
Worth a try.

This is good to know, I have a 1962 Plymouth Belvedere 4 door sedan that needs windshield and I believe they are the same. Didn't know Summit racing carried it.

It's AMD. I was very impressed with the handling of it. It came crated on a pallet in a heavy duty box.
The driver unloaded it. We opened it checked the glass, made sure all was well, and the driver even took away the pallet and all the packing.
The service was outstanding.I couldn't find anyone local to supply one. I was so worried about having glass shipped because of a cost of about $700 total.
The thought of it being broken and having to deal with shipping it back drove me nuts. I worried about nothing.
