Went Sunday and purchased this, it's a basket case, 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus. It will be delivered Saturday. It has a 10 foot paint job and bodywork already completed. Antenna hole was closed as well as fender mounted turn signals. Hand airbrushed body stripe. Has a 360 and auto transmission. Bucket seat, console shift, rallye cluster car. The tires are new and the cragars are a pristine example of original 1970's cragars. Originally a blue car with blue interior. I plan to keep it a satellite and not clone it into a GTX or RR.

Cool deal! I've been seeing that car for sale for quite a while. Glad you were able to snatch it up and put it to use.

If that's a base coat / clear coat paint job, it may be as simple as color sanding and buffing it to get the paint looking better. Having said that, I do not mean to say it looks bad at all. Even if it's not base coat / clear coat paint, a professional can likely buff it up to a really good shine. It's a cool color and the blue stripe will probably really pop with that blue interior.

I am very partial to the 71-72 Plymouth B bodies. I love 'em. 360's work well in them. I think you got a cool car there.

Great looking project... always loved the nose on those 71-72's

Who could not love that face? John Herlitz design. Timeless bitchin' American muscle.

It is a base coat clear coat paint job. The paint job is actually pretty good, does need a wet sand and buff job. It's the bodywork that makes it a 10 footer. You can see some waves, dings and scratches under the paint that weren't fully corrected.
