Im posting my freshly restored 71 340 roadrunner for some feelers..

1971 Roadrunner NOM 340 auto 3:55 sure grip. painted in the original GW3 bright white with the original colored gold interior. Have build sheet, fender tag and complete owners manual package. original options include:

GW3 bright white
gold bench interior
roadrunner decor group
A/C
single chrome mirror
AM radio
hood pins
wheel well trim
14" ralleys
3:23 peg leg

car started out as a very clean western car with minimal metal work done. I changed out a few things on the car to my personal taste like front and rear spoilers, 15" ralleys, duel painted mirrors, buckets and a buddy seat, rim blow steering wheel, exhaust tips and of course the FAST 340. motor was built by Jeff Patterson and it dynoed at 512 hp and 540 torque with headers. tranny is a well built 904 and the rear is the original 8 3/4 with a 3:55 sure grip. Ill post a link to the cars restoration that further explains the car. Do not hesitate to ask questions as I built this car myself and know it in and out. As of now, the car needs a little more putting together in which it will be sold as a DONE car. As for price, Id like to start it off at $43,000 OBO. I know its a lot of money but im flexible on price. receipts total a lot more than that.. located in NW Wisconsin. thanks

Just to throw it out there, you might want to post pics of the car on this thread. Clicking a link that takes me to another site where we have to search for the pics will cut down on interest. Just a helpful tip from someone who doesn't like to deal with any other Mopar sites but this one... :)

Sounds like a really nice car. I have read the FAST rules and this leaves me wonderin how a 512 HP 340 can sound stock.

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgSurprisingly, it doesnt sound too far off from stock. Defiantly can tell its got more going on under the hood though. Like I said, the car WILL be finished before it sells!! there really isn't much left to do. Id just figured it wouldn't be an over night sale and I might as well get a heads up on putting it out there

i just figured if someone were truly interested in the car, theyd take the time to look at the restoration and see what its all about.

So you figured we should "earn" it then? Just kidding.

I went through the first and last page and saw no pics but there were at least 5 more so i gave up.

Car looks really nice. Good luck with the sale

Pics are there. In the heading of every post you will see "attachment". Click on that to see the pics. That's what drives me nuts about that site. Maybe things are different if you're a member there.

thanks Wylde1 .. my comment was a little tongue in cheek. I like others was making a point that if you are trying to sell something you shouldn't make the potential customer work for it. At least i did go look. FABO is same format as FBBO but the members posting practices make it a little harder for me to sift through.

BTW I've been to plenty of other sites and am admittedly a little spoiled with this one. dodgecharger.com is another i like with really useful restos and knowledgeable folks and I also like dodgecoronet.com which has the same format as FBBO, but way fewer posters unfortunately

ive always been able to see the pictures weather im signed in to moparts or not? what browser do you use?

It would have, but with the wight savings and better power efficient advantages, I went with the 904. Its very stout built with a Cheetah forward auto valve body, low gear set, semi rigid band, deep pan, dynamic converter.
