Ok so I got my hands on a 2005 dodge charger r/t engine with full harness and computer, and I am wondering if there is any way I could drop it in my 72 charger with the 727 trans, I understand fundamental stuff like needing new motor mounts and fuel lines and what have you, but hooking it up to the transmission is the issue with me, I just don't know if it would work (if at all), and I don't want to completely pull the 360 thats in it only to find that theres no way it will fit. Any and all help is definately appreciated.

Yes it will bolt right up to the 727 trans. The top center bolt on the trans is not used cause there is no hole for in the block. Motor mounts, headers get from tti. Make your own fuel lines, wiring harness from street and performance. Look at my thread on the 62-65 forums, late model hemi into early b bodies, it might answer some questions. Oh, if you decide to go ahead, post your build, we love car ****!!
