Yeah, the diamond plate, primer, and not too good photos are hiding lots of stuff. I'll bet its a bondo beauty. If he really did put $30,000 into it, he must have about $22,000 in cash hidden in the trunk.

That generation of Cutlass is pretty easy to find and turned into a 442 clone for $30,000 or less.
