Hello All, I am selling my 1972 Dodge Charger figured I put it here first before Ebay. Below is the write up on it.

Up for sale is a numbers matching , never molested , un-restored, garaged kept all its life, original paint 1972 Dodge Charger with original numbers matching 400 magnum engine.. Have original build sheet, original polyglass tires and tons of documentation and service records dating back to the eighties. Also this Charger was decoded by Galen Govier, and have the decode sheets.
The original paint on this Charger is stunning even from 5ft. As you get closer you can notice , it does have some stone chips, minimal worn paint , some scratches and 2 small areas of concern, one small rust spot and one area where paint is bubbling. When your review the pictures you will see those areas. Like I said this Chargers paint is stunning for being 39 years old even with these minor things, you can see that it still has a mirror finish.
The 400 magnum engine runs great and has respectable power. The true mileage is unknown, and most definitely has turned over. I do have tons of maintenance records from the previous owners.
Additionally this car was taken to MOPAR Nationals Maple Grove in the 90’s I do have the tickets. The former owner told me that in one of the shows this car won Best “B” Body, he could not find the plaque when I bought it, so I cannot verify that it won that award, but I do have the cars entry tickets to prove that it was their.
You will not find charger like this anywhere. If you want admittance into MOPAR heaven this car will get you in, and best of all its original and has not been restored.
The only body item that is not original is the 400 magnum Emblems on the left and front fenders. They can easily be removed without harming the car.

Very nice looking '72. You didn't happen to pick up in PA last year? Good luck on sale.

I was serious about buying it and had emailed back and forth with the seller and was planning a trip to look at the car and then it disappeared. I called him and he told me he had a buyer, so I looked elsewhere. What caught my eye in your listiing was the Nationals win. He did have a pic of the plaque if I remember correctly, but couldn't find the award.

He had everything but the plaque, he had the photo but could not find the plaque it self. When I went to look at the car I was amazed how well it was preserved it was sort of like those barn stories you here about. He had it sitting tucked away in the garage. I was their was an archieve somewhere from the Mopar Nationals/Maple Grove maybee I could get some documentation.
