Been thinking about letting this one go… super cool 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner. It left the factory as a TB3, 340-4bbl, 727 on column, J45 hood pin car, black interior. Clean IA title along with fender tag (no broadcast sheet). Currently has #s transmission mated to a late 70s 318 with the original 340 heads on it. ALLEGEDLY the #s engine along with all the documentation (Dealer invoice, broadcast sheet, old pictures from 70s, etc.) is somewhere in southern IA and the guy who bought it from PO sold engine separately and misplaced documentation so the trail disappeared. Did have the car running and driving last summer but I just dropped the gas tank due to it having rust in it. The frame rails look really solid front to back, the majority of the rust is in the rear quarter panels (was an Iowa car it’s whole life). I do have a rust free SSP driver side fender along with a rust free bumper for it. It will need a full restoration to be a nice car, or use as a parts car, since it has everything with it except quarter panel emblems (yes original grille is all intact and presentable, no damage). I have had it since last summer and really don’t want to sell but I just simply don’t have the time to do anything with it nor do I have the room for it. I’d like it go before heavy snowfall. Asking $6,500 obo cash only with clean 72 SSP fender and clean 72 rear bumper. Have more images, just ask. Located in New Hampton IA 50659, clean title and BOS to go with it, thank you for looking.
