Does anyone know if the 1972 rear bumpers are the same with the exception of the holes that are around the tail lights that hold the rubber bumper ring? The rubber bumper ring was severily damaged when I removed it so I could get the bumper rechromed. The nuts were rusted and things didnt turn out as planned. I was thinking about filling in the holes prior to rechroming the bumper but I want to make sure there are not any other differences. I researched the avalibility of new rubber bumpers and the possibility of repairing mine and I'm not sure which direction to go. I do have another bumper but I havent attempted to remove the rubber from that one yet.
