1972 Roadrunner Broken hood insert

During the removal of the hood inserts one of the mounting connections broke off the insert. Has anyone had any success with repairing one of these parts?

i would epoxy that broken off piece right back on
nobody will see it when installed

jb weld makes a very good one
you need the 2 part stuff
it is as tough as nails,
i once glued together a small box out of a hard wood
and as hard as i have tried, i can't pull it apart.
