Does anyone have the hole locations for the Road Runner emblems that go between the door and rear fender well on a 1972 Roadrunner GTX?

They do not go on the rear panel on a 72 GTX. Front fender between door and wheel. I have never had them off so am of no help as to hole locations.

Actually yes, on a 72 RR/GTX the RR emblem go on the quarter just like any other 72 RR. The GTX emblem goes on the fender.

i have the 1972 dual badge GTX Roadrunner
If that is the case the holes would have existed and you would not be asking. Unless of course the quarter was replace and the old metal was not retained for hole locations. The best reason to never discard anything till the project is done.
The RR emblem is presently off mine and can give you dimensions if you still need them.

Thanks Moar 3 B you can find my thread about "Just found rust in my frame rails" and you will understandthe mess I found myself in. I didnt buy a car on e bay, I bought a sculpture made of Bondo with 4 wheels and the original 440. The only up side in this entire mess is the fact it is a real RM23U car and the cowling and radiator support stamps match the broadcast sheet and VIN tag and the original numbered 440 was still running strong. The other positive thing is I'm building it to drive and not looking at it as an investment. However, it would be in line with my other investments...........buy high and sell low.

No holes for "GTX" badge as it was not a studded one but a small stick on one. The Qtr. Panel "Road Runner" ones were drilled as the emblems had pins..
