I am selling this car due to a job change. Really don't want to, but here it is:
I am the 4th owner, original owner from Jun 1972 until March of 2015, living garaged in Stockton, CA.. Second owner added Magnum 500 wheels and larger tires. 3rd owner added 2/1/2 inch dual exhaust. Numbers all match and I have the build sheet.
This car still wears original paint, original vinyl top (in very good shape), and is one of the few remaining fuselage body Plymouth's from 71/72 that hasn't been messed with. Has 318 2Bbl with PS/PB/Factory AC (Needs recharging but compressor runs when low press switch bypassed). Rallye dash, I replaced the clock with the correct tach. I had the front seats recovered with Legendary covers and new seat foams, as the original drivers seat had a tear in the seat bottom. Original headliner, carpet, and back seat cover, all in good condition. Car runs and drive exceptionally well, and even with the 318 it is plenty quick! It was well cared for and altho the body has some door dings and a couple of small dents near the front bumper, the paint still shines up and looks good for 44 plus years!
I cleaned up the engine compartment as it was really dirty, repainted the air cleaner, brake master and booster, and replaced the windshield washer tank and hoses.
Oh and the car has zero rust other then some surface rust on the diff cover and leaf springs. The floors, frame rails, and rockers are in excellent shape. Bumpers are in excellent shape as well as is 80 percent of the stainless side trim. A couple pieces need some dent repair.
$17,500.00, car is located just outside Phoenix AZ. Inspections welcome. PM for more pics.
Thanks,
Mark
