I have somebody who wants me to do a mid-70's Charger for him. I thought the 440 was only available on a "Rallye" model ? I forget. Anyway, can you post the tag, even if you block the last 6 ? Thanks.

Mind if I ask how good a match the carpet is to the factory color?

...and what manufacturer and manufacturer's color description of carpet?

Is your interior color code F8 or F6?

If I were closer I'd have to come check that out.

How's the cowl?

I have those same options except for the 440 :( on my 74 318 car but with buckets.

I've seen a few with that combo, but not many.

Interestingly, I'm pretty sure you could get the 440 in any Charger, and you could get the rallye package with any engine including a 318 and a 400 2 barrel!

GLWS.

I will get pictures of the VIN tag and fender tag(s) on Monday...the car is at my father's house about 30 miles away.

You could get a 440 in an SE for sure....just pretty rare.

the color match of the Auto Custom Carpet set that I have for it seems to be very close although the original was shag and this is not.

the interior color is F8.

the cowl is very solid

Thanks.

What does ACC call the color you bought?

Buckets are a bolt in upgrade (except for drilling 4 holes that will be covered by carpet)!

Thanks for your info on the carpet.

(dang all of my posts in this thread contain the word "carpet")

drivable from Ohio to Oregon where I'm at ??

Does the sunroof leak ?

Mike..

if it only had buckets...............

I used to think that-
but man, that is a cool car.

Push up the arm rest, put the column shift in drive, and let your date slide over next to you...

I miss bench seats.
If that was near me when I was looking for the RR it would have been a done deal.

I am very experienced with that sort of sunroof now.
When working perfectly, and new, they could still seep a little water in. It would go in the pan, and down hoses if needed.

The rear inners tend to get weak with age, and droop a little in the back. This will let it leak some. I have not found parts to replace or been able to refurbish to good non leaking order.

The crank handle / gearing also get old and worn and slip as far as opening and closing is concerned.

So, my recc. is a garage car only, or a big flat magnet decal or something that covers the roof seams if kept outside.

This is a super cool car!

It's a factory 440 car, for pete's sake!

With decent quarters.

For 4K!

With p/w, a/c and s/r!!!

Of course it's green, but then so were 65% of the rest of them.

I wish you were closer.
I have a bulge hood, hidden headlights, rallye taillights, machine gun tips and valance, and even a nice sunroof and sunroof roof, also a complete balck bucket seat interior... just waiting to go into a factory hipo car that has a solid body.

....I could probably meet you half way

I'm 50-50 buying cars sight unseen.

Scored big time on my 66, but not so much on the 74.

I'd need to see it in person, and would hate for you to drive to Atlanta or Chatanooga and then have me back out.

Where's Reynoldsburg? I'm from Dayton/Mad River/Beavercreek.

Are you the guy that has all the Mopar ebay listings in Reynoldsburg?
