Is there a conspiracy somewhere or am I just not finding them? I’m not seeing correct 74 style positive battery cables for a charger. All the ones on the market are not long enough to attach to the ignition relay which is by the brake booster of course. Ive got several 74s but never had to buy a positive cable yet until now.

I ended up buying about a 48" long red battery cable from Autozone to route the main wire lead to the starter. I crimped on about a 12 gauge wire to the short red lead and ran it to the starter relay. I used red heat shrink tubing to insulate the crimp. I soldered a copper eye type terminal on the relay end and used heat shrink on it. The best I could do since no correct ones were available at the time of installation.
