Very solid project car located in Pittsburgh,pa. This car is seeing the light of day after 31 years in a garage. purchased in "79" i'am the second owner. the sector shaft broke at low speed the frt left corner of the fender and bumper hit a pole. as the pics show i have a new replacement fender for it. the dampness of the garage over time caused some rust scabs and flakeing of the body and frame, but the sheetmetal is otherwise solid. the motor is a 400 cid B4 with two 4 bbl carb setup
i added later along w/ headers . i tried to post as many pic as i could to give anyone with intrest a good look at every part of the car. it was undercoated when new as the photo's should show. but if anyone has a question just PM me. thanks for your intrest
P.S. this is a 4 speed trans. I searched the web to get a good take on what should price my charger at but have'nt seen any similar to mine in setup and color. therefore i'am going ask $10.000 or best offer

I have to say that I really like that car! Can you say for sure that it's the original engine and trans? Did you look for a build sheet? Best of luck with the sale.

where in pittsburgh are you located?. im in pittsburgh also and this might be worth taking a look.....

I would say it's a fair price according to nada book for prices.Good luck with the sale.

all # same only added intake, carb's, headers.

Yes i'am sure it's the engine and trans are from the factory, i did add the intake and carbs myself, the orig setup was a 4 bbl thermoquad. i only have the owners manual now but i'll dig a little deeper to find a build sheet.

Price drop

OK Fellas i know someone out there must be thinking of restoring a "74" charger
To help the sale's process along let it be known that any reasonable offer will be considered. since posting these pic's i've started the engine after all them years it sounds and runs pretty good all things considered. (carb's will need rebuilt ofcourse), So come and get it. p.s. video of engine running is available, i can e-mail to you the file format is MP4.

74 Rally

Thats a really rare car, I know I have a 73 Rally 400 4 speed. I know mine is 1 of 39 for 73 so I was told, and I have not seen any since I bought mine in 05. and I would bet they made less in 74. Good luck. Dennis

Is yours a hardtop or coupe?
could be that the numbers actually went up in '74 since they stopped offering the 440 4speeds??

?? maybe not.

520 hardtops in '74, 25 coupes.

magpie i also have a 73 just a 340 car but it is a numbers matching car, auto on colum with go wing and 8 3/4 3:55 but now 2:97 as someone took out the 3:55 have any ideal on how many 340 cars where built and set for export i have both build sheets export tag but build sheets a little hard to read as they where under the carpet on driver side and pass side so may want to check there if you havent found any sheets yet magnum

Is this a real Grand Spaulding Dodge car? I see the decal and just want to ask I didn't see it in the add but maybe I mssed it.

Yes it is, I'am the second owner of this car the first owners got a divorce and the wife got the car and moved back to her mothers house in colorado springs.
thats where i got it in 1979.

Broadcast

I did find a broadcast sheet under the carpet where the feet of the rear seat passenger would be. so it was damaged pretty bad. sofar this is the only documentation i have.
