I nabbed some pictures of this car today. It is at crazy rays junk yard in Mt Airy, MD. It has been here for a while. Last time I asked they wanted 3500. a bit much i think. I took a picture of the vin, but it didnt turn out so good. rp23g4 are the first 6. Couldn't get a fender tag shot either. But I thought I would throw it on here and try and find a car a better home than sitting at a boneyard.

RP23G is not a GTX.

It's a Satellite Sebring Plus with a 318.

If it runs and drives, and doesn't have any bondo, it might be worth $3500.
Probably a bit less.

I was wondering. I know nothing of these years and their options. I didnt know they made a gtx in this year till i first saw this. I looked it up but couldnt find much info on them. I left it at that.

GTX was no longer a model line, only an accessory trim option. Just tape and logos.

...and a 440!

Correct. Either a RM21U4 or RM23U4. I'm 99% sure you could get a hardtop.

Ahh ok. Wish i could have gotten a fender tag shot. Either way, someone made a valiant effort to make it look like one. The power buldge hood and emblems and all. Probably was a real good looking car once upon a time.

I've always liked black and blue too.

One of my frieds once had a black 74-ish Malibu in black with custom blue and silver air brushings. Even had them on the dash. I loved that car.

I had a 73 GTX, and the GTX on the hood was a vinyl decal not a metal badge. The steering wheel has the one with the large center horn button. It had the hood pins, but no fender turn signals.
