1975 440/727 combo
Fresh build 440 with 727 for sale. Drop in ready. When I bought this core I was told it had about 19k miles on it when wrecked. Had a truck pan on it so I assumed an RV motor. When I opened it up and tore it down it was pristine inside. Cylinders honed and everything checked out. New bearings, rings, freeze plugs. New Melling HV oil pump. Aluminum water pump housing. New intake and EDL 750 carb. All new gaskets and seals. I had heads gone through and upgraded valves to 2.14. Springs good to 650 lift, 3 angle valve job. 509 hydraulic cam with stock 1.5 rockers. Stock pistons and stock bore. Chromed it up a bit. New starter, alternator, and 2600 stall converter. Turn key, drop in ready. Can sell with or without trans. Asking $7500 plus crate and ship from 27546. Nice motor with a ton of life in it.
