This is kind of a A body question, but I can't find an answer over there. My next project is installing a 1975 400 ( from a 2 door Cordoba) into a 1973 Swinger ( V-8 car). I'll be using Schumacher motormounts and want to keep the power steering. One major hurdle ( from what I have read) is the left exhaust manifold issue. Has anyone tried what I'm describing? The manifold looks fairly tight, maybe just some "shaving". Thanks in advance

Time for a dry fit or why not go headers? My buddy has a 70 Dart with 440 and a 70 with a 383.

While pricey the Tti 1 3/4 long tubes would be perfect for that setup.Or even the Schumacher tri y would do well.

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll look into the suggestions. I'm refurbishing the 400 now , it came from the Cordoba that is in my profile pic. 81 K original miles, it looks great so far ( no ridge at top of cylinder, no sunken valves etc. ). It will get fresh timing chain and externals with a proper Thermoquad. Never done this swap so a bit of a learning curve!
