My heater core is leaking so I began the process of trying to buy a new one. Good luck!! Advance Auto,Autozone,Pepboys,Rockauto,NAPA,and a local independent, none to be had. Keep in mind this is for an AC car. Saw one on Ebay and asking price was $127, which is double the retail price. I contacted a friend from FBCO who lives in Indiana and also checked this car out for me before purchase, to see if he could check parts stores near him. He called a buddy of his who works in the parts department of a local Mopar dealer and asked him to see what he could come up with. Ran the part number and came up with one!,yes one in Nebraska. Needless to say I contacted that dealer and now have in my possession the last known NOS '77 Cordoba heater core in the Mopar computer system. I will be saving my original as a worst case scenario it can always be re-cored and or repaired. Basically just using this as a public service announcement......if you need a heater core for a '77 Cordoba(I assume it is the same for other cars as well)you best get cracking and start looking as they do not seem to be readily available.
