Hi all. 1978 Magnum. Installed the 400 in place of the 318. 727 as well. Thought I could use the original Torque shaft assy. Maybe I was tied and rushing, but wanted to test fit headers and wanted to see if I need to modify things. Is there a differences from a 904 to a 727? FSM shows same number for all (3575 384) Didn't take photos of it. Any advise would be great.

They are different. When you say FSM usually the service manual does not show part numbers where a parts manual does.

I'm sorry. It was service manual. Here is mine. Is it length, or brackets and such?

Nope, real parts manual from 1978 course this is a Magnum charger section not C body or Aspen type
Ok. There is something missing because there are differences between small block and big block as well as 904 to 727. One photo as you posted does not cover everything. Most all of the times it shows a part and a group category. I do not think you have a complete manual.
