1986 me and my '69 Road Runner

Here's a shot my girlfriend took of my '69 Road Runner,(I'm to the right in the photo) at a show here in California in 1986. This car was kinda unusual for a '69 Road Runner, having bucket seats, power windows, rear window defroster, am 8-track w/3 speaker dash, air gabber hood, 3.23 sure-grip, vinyl top, etc. 127.JPG
 
Very Very NICE! It's nice to have pictures of ourselves when we were skinny! Ha!
 
that would be like entering a 1996 model car in a car show today!
for a Roadrunner with all those options, i would say it was loaded :)

Exactly man in 86 or even 81 when I bought my RR there was a significant difference in the the look, performance, and feel of cars. Now it's the other way around. Modern cars have more performance, attitude and feel than 96 cars in general just like the muscle cars had more performance and attitude than the mid late 70's to late 90's cars with some exceptions
