Hey everyone!
So as of tonight I am officially a B-Body owner (I've added some photos). I've learned a lot already just from reading through some of the forums and I'm excited to be part of such a wealth of knowledge!
Thanks everyone! I know it probably has 2 doors too many for most people and it isn't necessarily the B-Body everyone is after but, it was such a great deal that I couldn't pass it up. I'll upload some photos of the interior as well. As you can see, the top of the back seat it sun damaged pretty badly and on the front bench, there is a wee bit of separation happening on the driver side seat vinyl piping area. I can live with those issues though. I do have a question though. From your experience, does this look to be sagging a bit in the *** end? Or are these cars just naturally that low. I thought I read somewhere that the ground clearance on these is LOW. I was thinking I'd either get the leaf springs re-arched (if needed and if possible), or just buy some new ones - maybe 1" over stock height.
I have a great vision for this car - you'll just have to wait and see!!
I've said it before - I'll take a 4 door Mopar over a 2 door GM any day.
I don't think it looks too low in the back. I think it's somewhat of an optical illusion because of the shape of the rear wheel openings on our cars. Sometimes I think mine looks low, too - and i have SS springs on it. But your springs may very well be tired and re-arching has been a good option for many.
