1st Wing Car? Must see 1961 Chrysler Turboflite Concept

Impressive car, but what really caught my eye was the ad for the 1977 Cordoba convertible on the right side of the screen. I never knew that existed either!

I had to go back to look for that, Bruzilla. Really a nice looking car with the top down. Sort of reminds me of a '71 Cougar convert. from the side.

if the wing on my Daytona was not so expensive, I wonder what it would take to make it work like in the video....

Cool old concept, I have a few B&W photos of it from an old article I found a while back...

I love all of the Chryslers Turbine Cars history, Thanks for posting that...

It's sad to see.

This is what we once were. We looked forward, reached for the stars; no limits.
And now....

Can you say George Jetson ??

Those things are cool but alittle strang . Even for me !LOL!!

Cool cars. I just finished building a 1/24 Turbine Car. Auto development history doesnt get better than Chrysler in the 60's, always on the cutting edge.

Very cool story - thanks for sharing.

Maybe the article had it and I missed it, but does anyone know if the car still exists? I'm sure it would still be quite a crowd pleaser at a car show!
