Ever wonder what a 2.5 million dollar car looks like? A 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda sold at auction for $2.5 million several years ago. The 1930 Deusenberg Model J Convertible below just sold for $1.4 million at auction at Auburn.

And I'd be willing to bet that the 2.5 million dollar Cuda aint worth that today. As far as the Dusenberg; I can appreciate it, but have zero desire for anything from that era.

I`d go for Duesenberg, sorry

I like them both, but also wouldn't spend that much on either one thou, even if I was filthy rich... I'd much rather have the 71 Hemi `cuda thou of those 2 cars like 1 of 3 or something... To me the 20's & 30's cars, I like allot too, but mostly as Hot-Rods... my Grandad had a Dusenberg, when he was in his late 40's, in the late 1940's, my Pops told me, he was really young still {like 10 y/o}, that he got "cheap" from some executive at Shell Oil Co., when he was an engineer there in SF, they use to drive it up-to Pinecrest Lake/Campgounds allot... I'm sure he sold it for far less money than that, in the mid 1950's, "it was too damn big for the garage" my Grammy always use to say... I'd sell either one probably & buy a couple other cars, like a 68 Hemi RR or a 68 Charger R/T Hemi or a 69 Daytona & 70 Superbird, both or all 4 speed Hemi cars too...

I have to agree the duesunberg is more interesting, but any car that costs that much better come with a mansion and 100 acres:)
