Just got my 63 440/TQ Polara back after switching pumpkins. I thought I was close to making some passes but nope. First rolling hit and the tires lit up,the limiter hit6k, and the axle started bouncing. All faster than I could shift. I could feel the Caltracs loading and unloading. I’m thinking since I still have 20 year old shocks on her tha lack of adjustment on the rebound let them unload the tires when they over extended. It was violent. Next purchase is Caltrac spec shocks.

We run exclusively Calvert Shocks on rear of all our Stockers.

Also check pinion angle = The Caltraks only need a couple degrees at most unlike
the SS that often have 4 or 5 down.
