has anyone here ever attempted to convert a 4 door wagon to 2 door?

i have seen it done in the A-body world but im not sure a B-body would be as accomadating as an A-body.

i am pretty sure the windsheild angle is different from a wagon to 2 door.

i have a 68 coronet wagon and seriously doubt i will do the conversion myself but i was wondering how many here have attempted such a thing.

The A pillar is at more of an angle from the two doors compared to the wagons & 4 doors.
Here's a thread from a few months ago where someone did just that:

Are you wanting to keep the original wagon front doors or swap to the longer doors from a 2 door?
Would think modifying the vent window to fit the angle on a 2 door would be easier than messing with the top but not speaking from experience. Concern I have is that the four doors have the frame around the window whereas the 2 doors are frameless. Don't see it being an issue of being solid enough but just getting it all to line up and fit correctly.

mopar action ran a story a couple of years ago about a guy who converted a 4 door b-bodie in to a 2 door. wagons rule!

I thought I heard that the convertible windshield was the same as the 4 door. If that is the case, then if you could find a convertible vent wing assembly...or complete door with glass, it may work.

Hey b-star was it a later b-body? Know there's a thread on here of a guy building one out of an early four door into a 2, never seen one on the 66-70's.

Convertible pieces are a good idea, made of unobtanium but someone has got to have a pair laying around.

maybe it was it was another rag but it was mid 60s b-bodie. i just can't remember if it was a dodge or plymouth. the guy bought this cherry low mile mopar from an estate sale.

There was a 63 Fury or Belvy 2Dr wagon running around MMW Gateway in 09. I know that's vague but maybe someone else remembers or knows of the car. I would think he took parts from 2Dr post to do conversion. Just sayn
