Looking for 2 speed wiper switch for 71 charger rallye dash

Are you looking for the switch and knob? Or the switch only? I have both. The switch is from a 1973 B Body rallye gauge cluster and should work on a 1971. However the knob is from a 1971 and has the allen set-screw type which is different than the later clip style knobs. Knob fits onto my 73 switch. Here are some pics...

1971 is a one year only switch and getting hard to find. This is what he is looking for you can see the size difference at the wiring plug compared to the later switches.

Does that mean the 73 wont work?

If it will work on my 71 then sure i will take the knob as well as mine is a 71

my car came with what to appear to be a later wiper switch it was longer. the guy put a tube clamp on the back to hold in it place.

im not looking to restore original but of course i want it held in place properly. if the wiring plug is longer but wont interfere with anything then im ok with that

71 also does not have the index ridge that 72-4 has. 72-4 switches will not fit in a 71 frame without either filing the ridge off of the 72-4 switch or putting a notch in the 71 hole of the frame.
The longer switch that is in your car is probably a non-Rallye one.
I'll check. I might have a couple 71 2-spd switches.

Thanks Mark, I learn something new everyday with these Mopars lol.

Velrob, well after reading this, my switch or your cluster would need to be modified for my switch to fit your application. If you want to wait for a 71 switch to come across I'll understand. I'm willing to sell the knob separate which is for sure from a 1971 B Body. Thanks

if its just matter of filing something off which wont affect peformance or mounting then im ok with that

i cant see the ridge which you mean can i see a photo of that before i buy one and find out its delicate to do

The big thing would be cutting the factory plug end off then rewiring it fitting it to your cluster frame is the easy part. I have the one shown for $100 plus shipping. Pm if interested.
