The deal may be dead. We went in, inventoried the stuff, gave him an idea what it could be sold for , and his pos nephew is ki-boshing the deal. I have dozens of people wanting motors etc& this idiot now wants to call in a crusher. I saw a floor mount cassette recorder in one car! Those are more rare than Hemi's. I have seen one in the flesh previously. So everybody hold their breath & we'll see what happens. Sorry to bear bad news. This was a dream deal gone to ****.

Does he not realize what he has there. A small fortune, not to mention what he will be doing to our hobby. When all these cars are gone, they are gone. A lot more money to be made to sell parts than selling by the hundred pound weight. Some people are IDIOTS and just don't care about saving our past. Hope you can change his mind and good luck getting your car out.

There is a lot of time & money invested here. People need to understand we are not bailing,just having to put up with a cantankerous owner who is ill. Most of these cars are Luxury Chryslers. There are some Furies, but mostly New Yorkers, Newports, and Imperials. I'm waiting for further info and will post then. Thanx.

In deals like this, Postcar needs to be able to offer and buy complete cars, and haul them off the site. No deal just picking over parts. This is where a buyer has to have nearby property to store them, or a very cooporative selling junk yard. Postcar will have to have cash, good judgement to know what is going to be able to resell, and parts buyer ( from this network) that forward money quickly to not leave him holding a bag. Judging from last post, many of the cars are low value, but hold good skimming parts.
