Listing my recent project/daily driver for sale. Its in pretty good shape but not perfect. The particulars:
Asking $2900
2002 Dodge Stratus R/T 134k (still driving it)
3.0 Mitsubishi Engine with 5 speed Manual
New (used 98k mi) heads $350
New Head Gaskets/Bolts $115
New Water Pump $30
New Timing Belt/Pulleys
New Spark Plugs
New Belts
New Wires/Cap/Rotor/Valve Cover Gaskets, Intake Gasket $166 for last 4
New Distributor (whole assembly) $145
New Douglas All Season Tires $ 440
New Coolant/T-Stat
Car has lots of options, Cruise, Sunroof, PW, PL, Pleather, CD (need to finish re-connecting that), A/C (not currently working), HID headlights, Drilled/Slotted Rotors with Ceramic pads
Body is in pretty good shape, no rust, rear bumper cover is cracked and held together with zip ties on one side.
History on the car:
I bought the car non-running. Turns out the distributor was the culprit but while working on it (before I got a chance to replace it) the timing belt slipped and bent all of the intake valves. So as you can see I have addressed all of its mechanical issues. It runs like a raped ape really.
My plan was to use it as a daily driver to work which I will continue to do while I leave it up for sale. Its main purpose is to save me gas money (which it is doing). However, I am hoping to make a move this year to Wisconsin/Michigan and will eventually make this not needed. So I am listing it for what I think it is worth as a firm price and will sell if you are interested.
The car is located in NW Indiana near Chicago. Please PM me if you are interested.
PS: Car comes with tons of spare parts:
Spare sensors - MAP, IAC, Temp, Temp2, Crank Pos
Spare Intake/Throttle body
Spare Short Block
Spare Manifolds
Valve covers, timing covers, harmonic balancer, some spare gaskets I didn't need.
I will try to get it washed and get some decent pictures of it here soon.
