Nice thing is these new ones are street legal and 125cc.
Saw a family with 3 of them riding thru town just this week.
I have been thinking about getting a new Honda 125 Cub that the have out.
Also the remake of the trail 90 is soon to be here. They grew to 110 in the 80's and will be 125cc now.
I think they don't have cat converters so that's maybe why California won't have 'um.

When we were kids a neighbor got a Fox Campus Minibike. I think new was less than $200.
For fun I looked for one that was restored. The price asked was $6000.

I have a 1974 Honda trail 90 that my dad bought new. Have the sales receipt, paper work and all. Mint condition with 618 miles on it. I've turned down 3500.00 twice because it's not for sale. Will go to my kids when I die.

Got this Honda 50 back in 1974 from a guy who tore it apart and lost interest. I believe it was in 4 or 5 boxes plus the frame. Restored it and all three of my kids learned to ride on it. Later it sat under my bench for a lot of years before one of my boys took it to his house. When he had a son, I 'stole' it back and completely rebuilt it again; this time for my grandkids. All the parts that couldn't be refurbished by me were either available as reproductions or found used on Ebay.
It's easy to get a lot of money tied up in one of these, even doing the work yourself...

Spent my whole childhood on Trail 70s

My Dad bought us two when we where kids

That’s all we did was ride those damn things like crazy while they sat around the camp fire drinking all day camping in Northern WI

Man would love to have those now
