My 70 GTX is getting close to re-assembly. I want to install a NICE set of 3 point belts. i have Corbeau bucket seats....not the kind with slots in the back rest for belts. But they do have head rests more like a newer bucket seat design.
Any body used an after market 3 point system in a B Body? It would be really nice if I could find some in blue as well.

XV motorsports has some, check it out.

XV's. Adequate but far from perfect. My late model seats (89 FWD Daytona) interfere with the retractor. It is forced to face the rear, so when unbuckling, you have to f a with it to get it to stow. Prone to twisting. 5 years old, maybe the product has improved.

Has anyone mounted XV's 3pt belts on a car that didn't come with shoulder belts?
just curious whats required to mount them on my 67(?)
i notice they list the mount and bolt but where does the mount get welded to, seems like the roof is to weak(?)
thanks

I went with a generic 3 point set from Snayk Oil.

Did your car come with shoulder belts?
How did you mount them?
thanks

My Snayl oil belts are 3 point with a single retractor. They hang from the roof like stock and the retractor is at the floor near the rocker, also like stock.

I've been thinking about this on my 64 hardtop. These cars did not come with a shoulder belt mounting point (too early) ... you can use these Mounting Hardware ... but I am not too sure that the roof area is reinforced well enough for them to be safe.

My thoughts exactly...
