What is the outlet size for the exhaust pipe from a 318 manifold?
Im thinking of running some duals and was trying to figure out what size pipe mufflers to get. i want the same size pipe from the manifold all the way back.
thanks

exhaust flapper is important for the automatic choke to work properly?
How do i tell if it is working properly...
the wheel on the side does seem to turn then flap back to the orignial spot.
If i redo the exhaust should i leave that in the system or get rid of it?
im pretty sure im going to go with dual exhaust but my engine is going to stay stock.
I just want it to run GOOD!

If it's moving freely and the return spring is doing it's thing, then I'd say it's working properly. If you're planning on keeping a factory intake/choke setup, then I'd say leave it intact. I removed it from my Six Pack car, blocked off the passage through the intake, and had the choke wired open. Worked perfectly.

But there is a difference between a 318 2V and a 440 Six Pack:edgy:
