318 V8 Choke Thermostat

Hey all,

Have had this nagging issue with my 69 318.....
The choke operation has never worked properly.....I now know why...
I have no choke thermostat installed....

I have a stock 2 bbl manifold....part number 2468960

I was told by an ebayer selling a thermostat, that part number 2863843 is the one I need....

anyone have any info on this?

I scoured my shop manual....and couldn't find any reference to it....

According to my Parts listing for 69, these are the correct choke numbers for a 318 2BBL Auto:

4608S: 2863843
4610S: 2863843

So, to answer your question, the one you are looking at on EBAY is correct.
