Hey guys I have a 73 roadrunner with a 318 and my bury just so happens to have a 360 interceptor motor which I tried to get from him to no avail. He just says he wants it for a truck he's building and I'd have to give him a thousand for it since he wants to use it lol, but he did say if I wanted I could have the intake and 4 barrel off of it if I wanted. My.question is will this intake fit my 318 . Thanks guys

yep, it will fit, the ports are not an exact match, but it will work just fine... just use 360 intake gaskets, not 318 gaskets....Also, pop for the fel-pro performance gasket set, the kind with the blue sealant rings around all the ports..

So what do you guys think he said 100 bucks for the intake and four barrel carb off the interceptor 360 does that sound like an ok deal

that would be a good price.I've never heard of a 360 intercepter.I had a 360 hi-perf in my 74 RR that used to be a city cop car.

I ran a 360 TQ intake and carb on a 318 back in the 80's and it worked great. Not sure if it's worth $100.00 though. It's just a cast iron EGR intake so not like it's rare.

I figured 50 bucks for the 4 barrell and 50 for the intake didn't seem horrible.

So what if anything did you have to do to get you car to run right after the swap

Also just found out the carb and intake are off a 78 360 not sure if that makes a difference

there is no "interceptor" 360. you can use the 360 intake but because of the port mis-match , you may end up with a slight hesitation.

Ah I think he was told it was an interceptor motor out of a cop car and was higher horsepower because of it I wonder what if anything would actually make it higher HP.

OK now he called me saying it came out of a 78 little red express and said the Carb is an 850 cfm or at least says 850 on it. He says its definitely an interceptor and I'm not about to argue with him as I'm not buying the motor.
