Gentlemen,
I have a '67 satellite, originally a 318 car, with a 360 motor in it. Recently I completed an 1100 mile road trip, and my rubber oem-style motor mounts are shot. Almost sheared through on the driver's side.
There are so many options out there for motor mounts, I would like to get your opinions on what to run for my application. This is a mild motor, just intake, carb and headers low compression smog motor, probably 250-300 hp tops. Street driven, no racing.
I'm trying to figure out the difference between 318 and 360 mounts. What year model should I order to fit a 360 in a '67 b-body?
Should I just put OEM-style rubber back in, as they are very inexpensive? Mancini solids seem like a good idea but this is a cruising car and people complain about vibes. I don't mind vibration at idle as long as things are smooth while rolling. I drive this car very frequently, it is by no means a garage queen.
