Hello everyone, Im posting this on behalf of my father since hes computer illiterate. Anyways, Hes got a 69 charger with a 383 rb motor and he came across 906 heads from a 440. He was wondering if he could use the intake on the 383 or if it had to be charged to work with the 906 heads?

if the charger has the original 383 then it already has 906 heads. there was only one year for a 383 RB and that was 1959. all other 383's were B's, low decks.

All heads will work on 383, 400, or 440 motors.
Intake is specific only to the block. 383/400 intake will not work on 440 and vice versa.
So to answer the question 906 heads off a 440 should fit his 383 with his current intake.
