Hey all,
I have a 383 and a TQ 727 for sale. They are both coming out of a 67 Charger and the date code on the motor shows a Mfr. date in 68.
The trans was just rebuilt. Shifts very strong and hasn't had any issues at all.
The motor seems to run fine, but after doing a compression test in which all cylinders came back between 70-80, I think the rings are bad. The motor has not been worked on before.
I need to get this stuff out of my car ASAP so that I can get started putting the modern 5.7 that I have lying around in there. I left everything in running condition so that you can hear and feel it yourself.
I am asking $995 for both, which seems fair. Like I said, I need to get this stuff out ASAP so if you think my price is high, let me know.
I am located just outside of Sacramento and shipping would be your deal. If you have someone locally who could come take a look at it I would be more than happy to run it with them.
