When i took my 383 to get rebuilt in the machine shop stupid me i left most of the brackets and bolts in the block so I would know where they went and not thinking took no pictures. When I got it back i think everything is there but i cant tell seeing as i dont remember where anything went hence why i stuck it in the block. So i was wondering if someone could post some picks of alternator brackets and bolts the tension pulley bracket, and bolts, motor mount bracket and bolts and finally the power steering pump. Ive tried Google but im sure some know how that goes. Thanks.

Maybe im not being very clear on what im trying to ask for but ive tried every which way of rotating this alternator bracket I have to mount the alternator. What problem im running into is the plate the mounts on the water pump housing which then holds the long bolt with the spacers to the heads doesn't match up. There is also a tensioner pulley that i have no idea where to mount as well as the bracket that allows the alternator to be tensioned and slid. Ill try and take pictures of what im talking about to clarify but currently im stumped.

my suggestion is to look up big block mopar pictures on google images and look at the many engine configurations in your search and you will find out how you need to do it.

here's my additions.

Thanks for the pictures. I finally figured it out on my own somehow. My setup is like the first picture you posted the problem i had was there is a small plate that attaches to the head where the two bolt holes are in the head that has a third threaded hole that lines up with the bracket on the water pump housing. Wish I had taken more pictures!
