I've got a 392 in my charger. 2x4s but prettymuch stock. 10:1 pistons. I'd like a nice streetable cam. Laboring idle ( turf sounding but not shake idle). There 2 cams on ebay now. I need some advice on weather or not one of them would be what I want. Need some advice guys!!!!!!!

Just a thought, but have you called hot heads, those guys live and breathe the 331, 354, and 392 hemi's? They might be able to recommend something for ya.

Stay away from any Ebay cam. For what it is worth, any place not to screw around are cam's, oil pumps and bearing kits. If you want the best cam for the money and the least issues go directly to one company. Crane cams. No other company can serve you better or is higher in quality for a street motor. If you would really like to have that motor sing and behave well on the street ditch the 2x4's and you will be amazed by what a single carb will do for you.

If Your Fortunate Enough To Find An NOS Sig Erson, Isky Or Racer Brown Cams, Those Guys Did Alot Of Research In The Old Days With The 331-354 and 392 Hemis. Every Once In Awhile One Of Those Old NOS Cams Show Up!

I run the 11363 cam from PAW below its 290 duration advertised and 230 a .050 it is healthy for the street my 392 runs great with 2x4 carbs and 2800 stall convertor and 3:50x1 rear and behind a turbo 400 trans. It has a lopey idle but idles pretty nice.

Sig Erson was great stuff so was Isky and Racer brown, but now Crane is back in business and really doing a great job. You still will have much better performance with one carb. I switch my hemi long ago to single 950 with a low riser on street no issues. it makes more power and more reliable. Yes the 2x4's loook great but performance is dismal with 2x4's.
