Just ordered my 4 wheel disc conversion and it says must use a green bearing. I've done some looking and prices are all over the place from 90 each to 123 a set at jegs. I'm confused as to why I need these and if there are any simpler alternatives. I'm not going to drag race the car. I mean I might put it on the strip once or twice to see how it runs and i'll be running about 550hp out of a 440 eventually but who's got some advice for a brother. Thanks in advance.

Call Dr. Diff. He has the bearings and can talk to you about the brake kit you have and if there are issues. Nice guy and knows his rear ends.

X3 ... He also sells kits that don't require green bearings.
