4 hole or open

I'm going to try to run a Holley that I have in place of the AVS. Should I use a 4 hole spacer and gasket or open spacer and gasket?
What's the difference in how they run?

Generally, an open spacer works better with a single plane intake and vice versa but only one way to find out is to try it. Also, the 4 hole generally works well with a stock to mild engines that operate in the lower rpm ranges.
