OK I see all kinds of hurst shift handles in many different lengths and in rectanglular and round shafts but what was originally used in a 69RR? I want to convert my bayonett to a bolt on and get the same appearance as a factory unit. ...Thanks,,Ed

Round. And way different shaped between console or non. Non console is pretty much straight up with a slight curve in the middle towards the rear. Console is lots of bends lol. I’ll see if I can find some pictures.

THANKS!!! BTW,,,NON console is what I have. That shifter says it is 10 3/4", That seems a bit short? The one I have is 16" and it is pretty comfortable to shift,....Ed

The stock one is known as a “knuckledash” shifter and the other shorter (not factory option by the way) one is not.
