What is a fair value on a 1969/1970 four speed 18 spline transmission for B-Body that will need to be rebuilt. I'm looking at one and want to know what is a fair price to pay.

I gave Jamie Passon 2600 for one that he had went through and gaurentees. Don't think I would want to pay more than 1000 - 1200 for one in unknown condition.
