In a recent parts deal, I ended up with this 1977HP 400 engine. Story goes the guy bought a charger that was stored away for over 20 years this engine was in it. After starting it up, he replaced a couple bent pushrods, and drove it for awhile. He decided he wanted original so he bought a correct date engine and swapped this one out two months ago. Said to have run nice, and looks like the top end was off for service/rebuilt. Pretty dencent motor and comes as you see it. Only flaw is a chip on the lower driver side ear, but that won’t affext mounting as it was running that way for over 25 years anyway. Very clean in the engine galleys and no buildup anywhere. I also have some motor mount brackets for 1966-72 b/e/c/body I would sell with it for an extra $50. Located in San Jose/ Campbell, CA and will not ship. Local transport available, but you will need a hoist for removal.
