Anyone got a line on a step by step manual/procedure for a mopar engine assemble? FINALLY FINALLY getting around to putting the engine together. I have 95% of the parts. I believe I could get it done without , but it's been 18 yrs. since I've put an engine together.
Had the car for 14 yrs. No kids when I bought it. Have 3 now.
1971 dated #'s matching original 400 for my 72 Sebring Plus, .030 over, THICK, THICK main journals, 71 forged 383 crank. holley 600(daily driver), Weiand 8008 intake, ported 906 heads, 9.25:1, bought the cam so long ago can't remember exactly what without looking at the box. COMP CAMS, A little hotter than an original '72 HP 400.
Haven't decided on the ignition system yet. Going to get the voltage as high as possible and plug gap as wide as possible.
Anything to just keep me in line during the assembly.
Thanks
