SOLD 426 hemi Indy legend heads

Recently reconditioned 426 INDY legend-1 HEMI heads ,have less then 400 miles since reconditioning, new comp cams springs, titanium retainers, 10 degree locks ,comp cam viton seals, new spring shims, valve stem caps, includes the following arp head bolts, valley pan ,indy roller tip rockers and shafts, cast valve covers with new gaskets ,valve cover bolts , new indy push rods , spark plug tubes, pretty much every thing you need to bolt these on. These heads have not been ported so they have not been butchered, no cracks or repairs anywhere . Valves are out for your inspection. Because these heads have been shaved you may need a .040 or more head gasket depending on your piston height for clearance . These heads work best on large bore hemis. what is the chamber cc`s after shaving ??

ok,this is direct from my builder ,who knows his stuff .NHRA min. head cc's is 167.7. Normal volume on a mopar replacement head is 170.0. The orginial head gasket is .020 thick, it volume is 2.4 ccs. the volume of these indy heads 165.5 cc's. By using a .040 head gasket instead of the .020 gasket the head volume becomes about 167.8 or about the same as the NHRA minimum. the compression ratio of a 4.25x 3.75 with the indy head and a .040 gasket with an 88 cc dome is 11.0:1. Most street hemi aftermarket pistons dont have this much volume as the valve reliefs are cut deeper or large lift cams. I hope this info is helpful .
