426 hemi vs 426 siamese hemi Block PLEASE HELP

Hi guys I m having hard time to decide which block I should choose, reproduction 426 classic hemi or Siamese 426 block?
I know Siamese block have better water jackets then classic 426 hemi block. PLEASE HELP Thank you....

No supercharge or turbo, just planing to build for mild-street

The siamese block is the newer block. They both work fine. But the siamese is better since it is more ridged.

The old Hemi blocks held up just fine for decades. If it ain't broke, don't spend 3K fixin it.
 
If a new block has to be purchased,get the best iron block available.It could last your lifetime.

4 bolt mains and rod studs but no main studs and they look like stock main bolts

my first block i ever put back together i used the original bolts and broke 1 on the main and 1 in the head lol pain in the ***
 
well world products produce iron block, mopar produce its own, indy has its own which most expensive one. Thanks for all posts. I m going toward
Mopar siamese or world products siamese.

Those are 12 point rod bolts, not studs. The divot in the head is to produce a measuring point for the streach guage.
 
The main bolts that came with the block are stout!In that picture you see a Bryant billett 4.5 stroke gun drilled and knife edged,all the little crank tricks were done.I received this crank in a car sale,he paid cash and some hemi parts.Was a used fuel crank and had to install a converter register on the back.It also wears Manley "H" beams with ARB bolts.Diamond pistons swinging on that one
