Hey everyone, installing a new fluid damper on my 440... Should the crank snout be flush with the outside of the damper hub? I've got it about a 16th of an inch away and it's real hard I just don't want to damage anything... Using an installer tool(homemade baby!) Thanks for help!

Once you have it that far, go ahead and install the bolt and washer and torque to specs. You can remove and check to make sure the crank and pully are flush then reinstall with loctite and torque to specs.

Thanks for the reply...got it figured out and all pulleys actually line up...whaddya know!

Good to hear. I was going to suggest making sure the woodruff key was correct for the Fluidampr.
