Cast iron. Has 11/7/68 stamped on it. Cast number 2892626. Before and after pics:



You see what you get. I just blasted it. No cracks, the bolt holes and threads are all solid and good to go. The black stuff on the inside is some old crumbly/gooey stuff. The blaster wouldn't take it off because it's not hard; to get it completely clean one would have to scrape it.

I live in IL near Eckert's farm if you want to pick it up (http://www.eckerts.com/eckerts/eckerts_contact/). I'd be willing to go as far as the Target parking lot off the Green Mount Rd exit on I-64: put 38.5725057, -89.9248724 into google maps. For shipping I'd use the USPS online shipping estimator.

Yup, 11".

Well, USPS online calculator is showing about $44. But I've known that to be inaccurate and a touch low, so I'm betting it's more like $50 or so. That's with the insurance and delivery confirmation add ons.

To be specific I'd have to box it up and take it in to see. Right now I'm in the hospital as my wife just had our first child... so it may be a while before I've got time to do that.
