440 Head Pipes on 383 w/HP Manifolds

I’ve searched forums, but did not find an answer to this question.

67 Coronet, 383. Engine rebuild is nearing completion. I am replacing the full exhaust system at the same time. I am replacing the original log-style manifolds with 68-69 HP manifolds P/N’s 2843992 and 2806900. It appears that I may have accidentally purchased head pipes for a 440 with the manifolds listed above.

Can anyone tell me if the 440 pipes will work on my 383? I realize the 440 is taller and wider than my 383.

TTI shows 2 part numbers One is 2.5 inch and the other is 3.0 inch. But for B and RB so I think you are safe I had to edit this because I goofed on the part numbers.

As long as it does not an "H" pipe connecting the two pipes, they will fit.

440 head pipes will hang lower than the 383 head pipes.
